Here are my wands. As you can see, I chose to do mostly the wand symbol, but in a few, I did the staff. The King of Wands is King David and his son, the future King Solomon. My Queen of Wands is inspired by Empress Dowager Longyu. The Knight of Wands is inspired by military outfits worn by Napoleonic Italian soldiers, and the Page of Wands is Hermes.

My Two of Wands is the first of two Alexander the Greats. My Six of Wands is Julius Ceasar returning from conquering Gaul. The Four of Wands is based on the Judaic tradition of Sukkah and the s’chach structure. The two people are holding date palm fronds, myrtle, willow, and a lemon.

I was inspired by Lawrence of Arabia, which is one of my favorite movies, for the Three of Wands. The rest of the cards are just from my imagination and interpretation of the cards as I see them. The Five and Eight of Wands are close to the original symbolism of the cards.

I look forward to putting out the flavor text for each card in the coming weeks.
